Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood there and her adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever since.
