Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and has Chinese roots, but her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Olivia's parents divorced at the age of 2. She was raised by her mother who was as a pilot in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around often. At this point she performed in various local theater productions, and then was a model for the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia was a model who relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfill her desire to become an actress was determined to pursue her goal after the family moved back to America. She began her acting career by playing a minor character. Her career then gained momentum when she was cast as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's receptionist. She hosts the popular podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". She is a huge fan of surfing and has been practising since watching the tv program Beyond the Break (2006). Her black belt is in Taekwondo. Her mother remarried when she was only two years old, and was an Air Force officer. In spite of the fact that family members moved around lot, her mother raised her primarily in Tokyo in Japan, where she stayed in the military. Attending at the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors in Japanese and drama art.
